Money Train 72
Wiley Coyotes 34
Lead by Tim Green’s 27-point effort Money Train continues to role to an undefeated 3-0! Unfortunately for the Coyotes, they were unable to put up another 80-point effort like in week 2. Look forward to better days ahead for the Coyotes, as Money Train is the best team on Thursdays.
War Eagles 54
One Body A 51
A defensive battle down to the wire, but in the end the War Eagles stood victorious against the once undefeated One Body A. The stat lines aren’t pretty, but the defense for both teams was superb. Look for better offensive performances from both teams going forward.
Inside Out 74
Christ Church of Orlando 26
The defending champs are still rolling to make up for their week 1 forfeit with their second victory in a row and likely many more to come. With a total of 43 steals between the two teams (Inside out-23, CCO-20), the game was chalked full of turnovers, but also solid defensive play. Look for both teams to seek improvement on ball control in the future.
One Body B 48
Playground Legends 46
This game lacked high offensive totals, but more than compensated in excitement as One Body B pulled ahead by 2 with a last second buzzer beater in true March Madness fashion. This is the third week in a row that the highlight of the week is emerging from the always-entertaining One Body B. Unfortunately for the Playground Legends, the final minute could have gone either way but that’s just sports. The Playground Legends ARE the best team with a losing record, and don’t be surprised when they shed that dubious honor in the coming weeks to return to .500-ball.
