LA Legends 96
Big time performance from Lamark Green (32pts) and Andrew Figueroa (23pts) who combined for 55 points in the Gators 81 point effort. Unfortunately it was not enough to take down the LA Legends and their 6-game win streak. While Jeremy “NBA” Sharpe lead the Legends in scoring with 24 points, but it was Joey Nemeh that led the team to victory with four consecutive goals from beyond the arch to push the Legends from a close game to a commanding lead.
Metro Church 60
This was a six-point game in the box score but was far closer throughout the game, however it was the Cobras that pulled out a win with their “gritty play.” The lead scorer for the game was Metro’s Daniel Feliciano who scored 29pts on 11/24 shooting and grabbing 10 rebounds, while Kyle Hughes of the Cobras scored 24pts, dished 5 assists, and came down with 13 rebounds.
Old School 74
TCR started the season out with a bang, but the past few weeks has been rough after facing some of the best teams in the league in the LA Legends and Old School. Despite a loss, Justin Ecker still is the real deal in the paint with 19pts on 9/15 shooting and 7 rebounds. While Ecker had a great game, it was Old Schools Jason Powell and Phil Hughes that really stole the show with a combined 40pts and 8 steals en route to a commanding 24-point victory.
